Information for Faculty

This guide provides information on services that the library provides specifically for LLU faculty members.

Using EndNote

EndNote is a software program that enables you to move seamlessly through your research process with flexible tools for searching, organizing and sharing your research, creating your bibliography, and writing your paper. An EndNote instruction session will provide you with the knowledge and some tricks of the trade to use the software most efficiently.

EndNote Instruction Goals:

Students will be able to:

  • create an EndNote library
  • import bibliographic references from external databases and create references manually
  • organize your library using groups to categorize references by project, subject, or anything else you choose
  • store and annotate PDFs
  • automate the insertion and formatting of citations and bibliographies in Microsoft Word
  • sync your EndNote references and groups across multiple computers, share references with others, and access your references from almost anywhere with any internet browser by using EndNote Online.

To book an EndNote instruction session, please contact Gurmeet Sehgal, one of our Research and Instruction Librarians. More information can also be found in our EndNote & EndNote Online Guide.
