(2023) This systematic review examines the potential applications of ChatGPT, an AI-based conversational large language model, in health care education, research, and practice. A total of 60 eligible records were analyzed, with benefits cited including improved scientific writing, efficient analysis of datasets, and personalized learning. However, concerns regarding ethical, copyright, and legal issues were also noted, and caution is urged in its use. The authors suggest the need for a code of ethics to guide the responsible use of ChatGPT and other LLMs in health care and academia.
