Finding Book Reviews

Both indexes have been canceled in recent years, so obviously consult only for books published in the date range below. The indexes are available on the 3rd floor of the library.

• Book Review Digest (1905-2005): Index to reviews from periodicals in the humanities, social sciences and general sciences. Emphasis is on works of general interest. It provides citations to as well as excerpts from reviews of current fiction and non-fiction in the English language. 

• Book Review Index (1965, 1969-2006): Indexes book reviews from over 500 publications including journals, national general interest publications, and newspapers representing popular, academic, and professional interests.
