Mobile Print allows you to submit selective content from your mobile device to the Pharos print queues for printing. As long as you can send one of the following document types as an e-mail attachment, it can be printed. The allowed document types are:
Printing:
On your mobile device, create a new e-mail, add one of the recognized file attachments, and send that e-mail to mobileprint@llu.edu. No subject line is needed or text in the body. If there is text present in the e-mail body, it might be processed as a separate attachment and added to your Print total.
Confirmation and Verification:
Your LLUH e-mail address has been already associated with your Pharos Mobile Print account. If you use your LLUH e-mail from your device, you will receive an e-mail confirming the success or failure of the submitted job.
Success | Failure |
If you use an e-mail address other than your LLUH e-mail address, you will have to confirm that this unknown e-mail address is associated with you. An e-mail will be sent to the e-mail address that you used to send your print job that includes a confirmation link. Log into your LLUH print account and confirm this non-LLU e-mail address belongs to you. After which, you will, unfortunately, have to resend your original print job to get it into the print queue. After resending your attachment, you will receive a success or failure e-mail similar to the ones shown above.
At the Printer:
With your print job successfully sent to the print queue, you have two options to print.
Method 1:
Method 2:
You can use the LLU Print Center to pay for and release your print jobs. The convenience is that this is done from a website. The caution is that your print job will be released and printed to the designated printer with or without your presence. Therefore, it is advisable to be near the printer before pay for your print job or they could become lost if you are not there to claim them right away.
