Search for permission to photocopy or share content electronically at CCC's RightFind Academic.
…no further action is necessary. You are free to use this content in your course materials for the duration of the LLU license agreement with CCC.
Remember that permissions are granted one quarter/semester at a time through CCC. Check each new semester to be sure that nothing has changed before continuing to post, copy, or hand out.

In the event a publication is not covered under the license, call the Interlibrary Loan Office OR fill out the Copyright Clearance Request Form and we will facilitate requesting permissions and paying the CCC copyright charges, which we will charge back to your department.
You can also search and obtain permissions using CCC's pay-per-use services.
Note: The payment of the service fee is the responsibility of the individual user, not the Loma Linda University Libraries.
Notify CCC if there are publishers you would like added to the program. CCC will work with their Publisher Relations team to recruit these publishers to participate in the Annual Copyright License Program.
The Del E. Webb Memorial Library honors requests from faculty to place curriculum related items on reserve that are in compliance with US Copyright Law (Title 17 U.S.C. Section 107) and the fair use guidelines, as established in the Report of the House Committee on the Judiciary (HR 94-1476).

Reserve items may be submitted at the library circulation desk with a completed reserve request form. Reserve items should be turned in to the library at least one week before the date when they will need to be available for check out.
As a safeguard against copyright infringement the library has taken the following measures:
Faculty may want to consider placing their own original copy or requesting the library to purchase an original copy of the copyrighted work in place of using a reserve copy. Contact a librarian for information on where to purchase out-of-print books and journal back issues.

To submit items on Course Reserves
Drop off the item(s) for RESERVES at the Del E. Webb Library Circulation desk.
Include a completed RESERVE REQUEST FORM. You can download & print this form in advance.
Reserve items should be turned in to the library at least one week before the date when they will need to be available for check out. Books and readings are removed from reserves and returned to the stacks or the professor at the end of each quarter.
