General Library Services

Borrowing Books: Using your affiliated ID, you may borrow most books at the Del E. Webb Memorial Library for 28 days.

Computer Use: Computers are available in the library for your use. A university login account is required for login.

Wireless Network access: The library and patio area are enabled for wireless access. User name & password: The same as your LLU email account username and password. The same credentials used to log into Canvas. Contact the LLU Helpdesk ext. 48611 for login issues. Additional information available at the Wireless LibGuide.

Document Delivery and Interlibrary Loan: The library makes every attempt to locate and borrow materials for study, research, or teaching. The normal turnaround time for interlibrary loans is 5-10 work days. There are a number of ways of submitting requests:

  • Document Deliverey Request Form: Allows user to order books, articles and other materials not owned by the Loma Linda University Libraries
  • LINK+: service for books allows users to request books directly from participating academic/public libraries in CA & NV.
  • Loansome Doc: Allows users to order full-text copies of articles directly from PubMed. You will need to create an account with PubMed.

Photocopying: Copies are $.08 per page. A photocopy card may be used ($1.00 deposit for each card) or you can have value added to your UnivID. Card holders can add value to the card at the vending machine or at the Del Webb Circulation desk. Some departments have photocopy cards available for their staff. However, these cards are kept in the departments, not in the library.

Group Study Rooms: Study rooms are available for the use of Loma Linda University students (two or more). Student ID is required. Room checkout time is two hours. Rooms are booked on a first-come, first-served basis at the circulation desk.
