How to print from your mobile device using Pharos Mobile printing.

Mobile Print allows you to submit selective content from your mobile device to the Pharos print queues for later printing. As long as you can send one of the selected document types as an email attachment, it can be printed.  The allowed document types are:

  • Microsoft Word
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft PowerPoint
  • PDFs
  • Images
  • Text files (CVS, RTF & TXT)
  • Microsoft Visio



On your mobile device, create a new email, add one of the recognized attachments and send that email to  No subject line is needed or text in the body.  If text is present in the email body, it might be processed as a separate attachment and added to your print total.

Confirmation and Verification:

Your LLU email address has been already associated with your Pharos Mobile Print account.  If you use your LLU email from your device, you will receive an email confirming the success or failure of the submitted job.  

Success Failure

If you use an email address other than your LLU email address, you will have to confirm this unknown email address is associated with you.  An email will be sent to the email address that you used to send your print job that includes a confirmation link.  You will have to log into your LLU print account and confirm this non-LLU email address belongs to you.  After which, you will unfortunately have to resend your original print job to get it into the print queue.  After resending your attachment, you will receive a success or failure email similar to the ones shown above.

At the Printer:

With your print job successfully sent to the print queue, you have two options to print.

Method 1: (preferred) 

  1. Go to one of the mobile enabled printers.  There are two in the Del Webb Library, one in Centennial between the amphitheaters, three in the School of Medicine (for Medicine students only) and three in the School of Pharmacy (for Pharmacy students only).  
  2. Swipe your badge or login at the Pharos Release station (copiers in Del Webb) to list the print jobs.
  3. Your printout will be in the list.  If you logged in with your username and password instead of a card swipe, you must have used your username during the sending process to see your printouts.
  4. Choose your printout in the queue and pay for your prints.  Your printouts will be available at the nearby printer.

Method 2:

You can use the LLU Print Center to pay for and release your print jobs.  The convienence is that this is done from a website. The caution is that your printouts will be printed from the designated printer with or without your presence at the printer.  Therefore, your printouts might be lost if you are not there to claim them right away.

  1. Go to  
  2. Login with your username and password.
  3. Look for your print job in the list.  If you did not use your username when identifying the print job, you will not see it in the list and you will have to use method 1. 
  4. Select your print job. Make any adjustments such as number of copies, color, duplexing or pages per sheet if available.  
  5. Select a printer.  Printers are limited to the Del Webb Library printers: DWColor-KM, DWKM2, ESSKM2; the School of Medicine printers: SOMAlumniPathLab2, SOMStudentLounge, SMPDXHP4015; and the School of Pharmacy printers: SPHP600LabFront, SPHP600LabFront-2 and SPHP600Lounge. Any printer with the " " symbol are incompatible for mobile printing at this time.
  6. You funds are shown in the lower left corner.
  7. Be sure to be nearby the selected printer and click on the yellow Print button in the lower right corner.
