Counseling and Family Sciences: Finding Test Instruments & Measures

Research and information basics for LLU students in Counseling and Family Sciences
Finding research instruments and tests can be a difficult task. Finding the full test can be even more difficult.  In general, tests must be purchased from the publisher or author and permission must always be obtained from the copyright holder.  The resources below will give you more information on the instrument including critiques, reviews, publisher and copyright information, and cost.

The library has many test/measurements/assessment/survey books devoted to a particular area or focus such as psychology or education.  Search in the library catalog for them (you can use the search box below!) by including your particular area of interest (i.e. psychology or education) and tests or measures or measurements or assessment

Below are just a few of the books available through the library and a link to a guide from the American Psychological Association on finding testing instruments.

Databases of Test/Measures Information

Search the databases below for information on published & unpublished instruments, reviews on instruments, articles citing particular instruments, information on purchasing a full-text instrument, and the full-text instrument when available.
